My very own Gashapons

Music: 梁汉文-蝴蝶来过这世界 Mood: On MC :P

After a long wait of nearly one month, My eggies finally arrived yesterday!

Seeeee?? so adorable!

It not only look like the real thing, it works just like one! Twist it, and a tiny eggy falls out. (At this point of time i was ohh-ing and ahh-ing like a caveman)

The One Piece Gashapons looks damn cool la wei...

It cost around RM52 if you buy it from the figurine shop, RM8 if you twist it from the Gashapon one by one. I got mine from online, where someone from Lowyat.net offers to bid ANYTHING for you from Taiwan bidding sites, and I got both for less than RM80 (it only cost NT320 for one set) muahahahaha~~!!

Check out my other 2 One Piece and Dora babies...

Ok i'm officially addicted to figurines. I'm gonna buy that CD Tower Rack from Ikea for sure!!

Conman!!!!

Music: none Mood: fiery

I swear I didn’t do this (although what I wanted to do is much more brutal than this), but to the person who took the effort to color printed it and drove all the way and stuck it on the lamp post in front of my OFFICE, I applaud for your effort. * clap clap clap clap*

I know there are human like this who walks the earth, but it’s really hard for me to swallow the fact that I used to worked with monsters like these, and to label them as my ‘colleague’. To add matters worse, I can’t believed that I trusted and lent him what seemed to be a rather huge amount of $$$ to me. I should be beheaded base on my idiotcracy.

Or should I be amazed at the fact that used to have a c_l_e_g_e (ughhh… I can’t make myself to vomit the word) who steals, who broke into the office, who did not turn up to work since January and still have the guts to ask his job back and apologize via SMS??

KNNBCCB.

Where is he now? God knows. Most probably in Thailand selling his ass for a living.

I have bought myself an expensive lesson to learn. Moral of the story? NEVER EVER lend to a homo colleague. EVER.

My Favourites from American Idol 7

Music: None Mood: speechless

These are my 2 favourite contestants from AI Season 7, I would be thrilled if either of them wins this.

David Cook

This is absolutely my top favourite, he is so cute I could bite off his head ^^ Definitely another hopeful winner like Chris Daughtry, who shares the same vocal style and rock atitude.

Age: 25 (Dec 20, 1982)

A resident of Tulsa, OK, David Cook grew up in Blue Springs, MO, but was born on Dec. 20, 1982 in Houston, TX. He graduated from Central Missouri State University in 2006 and has been singing since he was in the 2nd grade. He also plays the guitar and it was his EMO-rocking version of Lionel Richie's 1980s pop ballad, "Hello" that put Cook on the viewer's radar. Prior to his turn on "American Idol," Cook was a member of two bands, Axium and MWK.

Check out his cool performance in Top 11 where he sang 'Day Tripper'.

Michael Johns

Actually he was my first favourite contestant during the Hollywood Week when he blew me away with 'Bohemian Rhapsody' UNTIL David Cook happened to become cuter and cuter by the week :P

Age: 29 ( Oct 20, 1978)

Currently living in Los Angeles, judge favorite Michael Johns was born in Perth, Australia. He moved to the U.S. in 1998 to attend Abraham Baldwin Agriculture College in Tifton, GA, then moved to Buckhead, GA outside of Atlanta to pursue singing. Johns began performing at the age of 5 and also plays the guitar. He was a member of a band called The Rising.

Here is his best performance by far during Hollywood Week, performing 'Bohemian Rhapsody'.

Grounded

Music: Koda Kumi- Run for Your Life Mood: an urge to go to the loo

One morning, Mikey appeared for breakfast as usual. However, he didn't head for the kitchen, he went upstairs and cried for my dad at the master bedroom instead. Then I saw dad carried him down, and showed me Mikey's tail...

Good Lord! a whole patch of fur had came off clean from his tail and it's hurting him badly, no wonder he cried like a kitten.

We brought Mikey to the Vet after work. Too bad the Vet need to shave off more fur from his tail to get a better look at the wound. Then he confirmed that it's not from some cat fight but skin disease. He then gave Mikey a jab, prescibed us some cream and pills. As if Mikey doesn't look bad enough with a shaved tail, the Vet made him wear an outrageous looking plastic collar that cost a whooping RM22, to prevent him from licking off the cream after application.
And as if a shaved tail and a plastic collar don't sound bad enough, we made his life even worse by grounding him for a good 2 weeks~~

No wonder he grew so fat eventually that he looked like a snowman!

GUILTY!!

Music: Amy Winehouse- October Song Mood: Just woke up

I'm not sure what horoscope said about Scorpios today, I'm not even sure is this pure luck or what!

I was in a titbits shop in Parkson just now, walking all over the shop trying out free samples as usual...suddenly, I stop dead in the middle of the shop, not believing my 'luck' , staring at , OK be ready for this, staring at what seemed like a whole PILE of MONEY, to be more precise, a pile of RM50 notes on the floor. It was all over the walkway, and it so happened that no one seemed to walk over it. I pointed stupidly at it, looking around the shop and hoping someone would come claim for it. Oh well, NO ONE seemed to bother me at all.

Mind you, around 7 or 8 customers were in the shop and it so happened that: No. 1: NO ONE was walking towards that walk way, No. 2: NO ONE seemed to give a damn about my existance.

And what would a VERY normal human being do at this moment?

The very normal human being would pick it all up, note by note, hesitate for awhile, scan the shop for 1 last time. Oh well......

I just walked out the shop with a pile of squished notes in 1 hand, WITHOUT anyone noticing. Just like that. Mmm-Hmm.

OKOKOKOKOK!!! I've been there and done that, that's why I'm here to charge myself guilty by er...telling it all out in my blog. Teehee.

Note: It was precisely RM360 :P

My 3Cs

Music:Annie Lennox- No More I Love You's Mood: Thinking-bout-what-to-pack

According to the Taiwaneses, 3Cs stand for Computers, Cameras and Cell phones.
Couple of months ago, I've obtained a nice Acer 19 inch wide-screen monitor from dad, which has already satisfied a big part of my daily needs of net surfing and watching downloaded TV Series.
In November on my past birthday, he bought me another super gift where it had quenched the thirst of that shutterbug within me--

A Canon PowerShoot S5 IS!

These are example of pictures taken from the garden, my dad's orchids.

Here's an extreme super macro shot of 2 bugs doing the you-know-what. My camera is literally touching the flower!

And I thought that was the greatest gift of the year. 3 days ago, Shao Pin had bought me the ultimate gift of the year--

I still couldn't believe my eyes. My christmas gift, my dream gift, my dream phone, the Nokia N95!

A shot taken from the phone's 5MP camera. What more can I ask for??

That's an unbelievable feeling. I've never thought of physically owning these stuffs, let alone asking them from someone else. Other than an iPOD, the essential must-have of an average Taiwanese, I've actually own the perfect 3Cs a simple girl could ask for.

To two of the most important men of my life, Thank you soooooooooooo much!

Music: Yuna Ito- Know-how Mood: feeling flabby

I should be so lucky

Music: Eason Chan-富士山下 Mood: waiting for my hair to dry

I have the best coursemates in MMU HR history,

I have a pair of best-est of the best friends for nearly 11 years,

I have a dad who changes his stubborn and bullish characters because of me; and a mum who would announce that she's a great mum herself where in reality, is really kinda of a super mum...

I have a hot-headed, stingy, self-centered, mean, selfish....but nevertheless, forgiving sister,

I have someone who loves me dearly for the past 3 years and 5 mths to date,

I have a gang of unbelievably cute and fun-loving colleagues,

and not forgetting 2 new family members. Introducing Mikey, the might-be-a-PIG-before-reincarnation (all he does everyday is sleep and eat),

and bluey, the soon-to-be tiger (she pounches at anything basically).

Thank you, everyone, for existing in my life. Life would be a black and white tv set if it weren't because of all of you. I just realized that I feel rich just by looking at all of these. Here's a vow to myself: I'll live my life happily and healthily for not only to myself, but to everyone. By furnishing me with knowledge, experiences and care, you all have made me the person I have become today.

I love all of you. ALL of you.

I'm so embarassed to announce here that I haven't got my hands on Ying's album YET.................. I've tried looking at 5 different CD Rama outlets but still I couldn't source it! !Is it just me being unlucky or is it because of the sales of this album is too good that it's sold out everywhere? I DO hope it's the latter reason!

Aaanyway, here's a really late upload of a five-day exclusive coverage by Nan Yang Shang Pao regarding their album. Enjoy reading!

Happy Mooncake Festival~!

Music: Chieli Minucci- Jazz Guitar Mood: Tired tired tired...

It's been 4 years since I last spent my mid-autumn festival at home, with my family. Today feels just like any other day, only with a few lit lanterns with a table-full of dunno-when-to-finish mooncakes. Sis was extra enthusiastic about this day, and purposely brought home few packets of paper tanglongs and candles. Then what have we done to the tanglongs? 3 silly ladies lit them all up, line them around the porch, took a few pictures, waited for the candles to die off and 'sau gong' in 40 mins. I even forgot to look at the moon. Really nothing better to do........-__-

Here's a whole collection of dunno-when-to-finish mooncakes waiting to be downed by us within a month...

But still, here's to everyone, presenting our pathetic tanglungs:

No panic-ky!

Music: 侧田&吴雨霏-山歌 Mood: dizzy

Someone fainted at my office today. Tis' the first time I see someone colapse before me, tis' the first time I see the staffs react to an emergency situation and tis' the first time I've ever experienced what u call 'no panicky'.

The malay lady was sitting behind me, looking really pale due to diahorrea the day before. There was a muffled 'THUD' and when I turned, she's already playing dead on the ground. My god, I've never seen anyone fainted like that before, she looked like she just DIED; and the amazing part?No one screamed. No one panicked. No one cried. Everyone was so freaking CALM it scares the hell out of me!! Here's the situation:

'THUD' (malay lady fell onto manager whose sitting beside her)

Colleagues sitting around turned and s-l-o-w-l-y stood up.

Manager asked for minyak angin and began rubbing on dead lady. ( okok, she looked DEAD to me)

My colleagues looked on for 10 seconds, and CONTINUED their work.

Others called the secretary for first aid box.

Secretary came in with first aid box in 2 mins.

Colleagues sitting a FEW cubicles away from 'dead body' only started questioning 'what's happening'. (mind you, they r only a few cubicles away and they didn't even know what happened -_-)

Colleagues started to call up the nearest clinics for a doctor and failed to get them around. (1 said they r having meeting and no doctor is available; another 1 said their doctors r attending to patients and they r NOT FREE to come over to look at our poor lady) and did I mention that these clinics r onli a 5- min walk away??

Secretary called for volunters who know first aid and 4 men came in. (at least they knew how to untie her tudung, lift her head up and clear the tightening crowd)

Oh wait. I forgot the most crucial scenario. The lady wasn't moving AT ALL for more than 20 mins and still, no one twitched!!!

They finally decided to drive her to the hospital after someone said that it'll take 25 mins for the ambulance to arrive.

Oh yes, since our new building is only 3 storey high, there wasn't even a lift. So 4 men carried her down the stairs. I wonder what would happen if someone slipped and mrs. dead body rolls her way down the stairs? By the way I felt lucky for her that she's wearing pants today.(I guffawed stupidly at that idiotic thought)

Mrs. dead body finally got into the car and headed to the hospital after lying unconciously on the ground for more than 30 mins. By then, she was already in high fever and shivering all over.

and no one twitched. And then everyone went back to their routine tasks as if nothing happened.

How could everyone remained so freakingly calm????

Mr. stripped- shirt sat back down and surf the net for useful numbers coz no one was even sure of the emergency numbers. (FYI, it's 994 or call your respective hospitals that keeps your record)

Mrs. dead body lies unconcious on the ground, i ended up taking a full view picture of the secretary's butt.

4 strong men lifted Mrs. dead body and claimed that she was amazingly heavy. (mind you, she's even a few cm shorter than me; which shows that dead/unconcious ppl really weights 2 times more of their usual weight)

Moral of the story?

1) Forget about calling the nearest clinic for help, they r a *$&*#$)#%& useless bunch.
2) Wear pants as often as possible. you'll never know how it'll save you.

Coincidence

Music: 娃娃- shang-ri La Mood: blue....

Dad told us over dinner how both of us got our names. He said that he wanted a child with a pure heart and soul, so he named me '洁华', meaning as pure as the flower('flower' has a similar pronounciation as the 'hua' in my name). As for my sis, when my mum went for the ultrasonic scan, they were surprised to catch very strong heartbeatings from my sis, just like a boy. My parent once knew this lady called '佩仪' ,who has a very jovial characteristic. Well, my granny told dad that she doesn't like the 'jie' in my name, so instead of naming her '洁仪’like what siblings would have, dad named her '佩仪’,exactly like that jolly lady's name.

My sis hated her name, and so am I. She hated hers coz the whole world has her name, be it her classmate, schoolmate or my collegue and classmates will share the same name as her, making her sound so plain and 'common'. Whereas I would have a name so unique that most friends would make fun of it, calling me a ...flower. I have some friends who would call me ah hua, means 'flower' in chinese, ‘阿花’literally. why?? coz 洁华 sounded so much like 菊花!ugggghhh....so ah lian!! That's y i rather intro myself as 'Kit' instead of 'jie hua' to most people now, my ready-made- modern-sounding-none-existent christian name hehee...

Ok back to the dinner conversation which brings us back to my granny again. Do u know what she wanted to name both of us initially? I'll be a ‘菲菲’and my sis '佩佩’.Dad totally rejected the idea coz at that time, there was some famous prostitute singers that were called, yes, exactly fei fei and pei pei. That's y he was so against granny's suggestion of giving us prostitutes' names ^^.

y 'Coincidence'? To my fellow ex Melaka Wings Cafe singers and friends, they will catch this joke totally... to all blurheads, Fei Fei is one of the Wings Cafe's singer, and Pei Pei is one of their bartender, a very 'handsome' tomboy who looked like JJ Lin Jun Jie. They were once so close to each other that many of us actually thought there's something fishy about their 'friendship'.

How coincide is THAT!!!

No. 7!

Music: N/A Mood: Typing with 1 hand, talking on the phone with another

It's out! It's finally out! If it wasn't the reason that I need to be at work for the walk-in interview, I seriously will be crazy enough to camp outside KLCC at 3am to get that autographed copy which is worth RM235~ Anyway, ma got it for me after dropping me at work, calling me up at around 9am from Kinokuniya.

'Hwa, I've bought the book already lah!'

'There's this huge feather pen coming together with the book too'

'Realllyy???? like those to write on parchments???? Oh my gawd that's so cool!!'

'I feel stupid walking around with the huge feather okay??!?' (FYI, her office is only a 10- min- walk frm KLCC ^^)

Paris, the big fat liar (on Larry King Live)

Music: Rod Stewart- Taking a chance on love Mood: Gan Zheong! (my first day at work tmr!)

Okay I know I really hated her, so what if I purposely downloaded and watched the entire 'Paris Hilton on Larry King Live' on youtube? Seriously, it was like watching a kid saying no to stealing the chocolate cake when he has chocolate smeared around his face and hands. Anyway, here are several parts that really amuses me and the rest of Paris Hilton Haters population around the globe.

LK= Larry King, P: Paris Hilton

On Drugs

LK: Ever taken drugs?

P: NO.
(whoa~! I thought i heard a thunderous choking sound from millions of viewers)

LK: Did you hang around with people who did those things?

P: Yeah I know people who have.

LK: Why didn'y you put a stop to this earlier and said I've never used drugs and I don't drink?

P: I just think when you do that you'll put more attention to something...when something's not true, I just don't pay attention to it coz I know my friends and family know the true me and that's really matters to me, and I feel, like, by defending yourself when things are untrue, all these doings will make people talk about it more.

LK: But in today's world, Paris, no comment is yes, don't you think so? The media is the message.

(She looked uncomfortable as she didn't see that coming~)

P: er...I just...I don't know...(3 seconds silence) people just make up stories and there's nothing I can do about it and I just don;t like to response.

LK: But the thing is you realize of course that one of the problem is this, and you've let it continue.

P: Yeah I know how I am so that's fine.

(damn that was a really idiotic blonde answer.)

Were those lollipops??

On her Attention Deficit Disorder(ADD)

LK: How did ADD affect you while in jail?

P: erm...well...it affects you and it's difficult to pay attention to things and... I don't know, it's something I've dealt with in my whole life... (sounded helpless)

LK: (cuts in) do you had ADD and you lose concerntration?

P: Yeah.

LK: and you've had it since you were a kid?

P: yeah. since I was like, 12. (it's like she Chin Chai added that on)

LK: So you had to be tougher in situations when you were like, entrapped?

P: Yeah, but I've learned to deal with it.

LK: So how did this affect you in business?

P: no.

LK: television?

P: no.

LK: singing?

P: no. I'm doing fine everywhere.

(I really do feel like puking)

On claustrophobia

P: Well I've suffered from claustrophobia my entire life and I was having severe panic attacks.

(TMD, so you don't suffer from this while on your helicopters or limos?

LK: How did you cure the claustrophobia?

P: I just...had to deal with it. So I've meditated, read letters, journals, I just close my eyes and literally pretend that I'm somewhere else, imagining that I'm at some special place.

LK: are you cured?

P: on claustrophobia?

LK: I mean, you must be!

P: now that I'm out of there, yeah~!

(OMG, that was DUMB!)

On reading the Holy Bible (my favourite part!!!)

LK: you were spotted I think holding a Bible or something, so did you take one with you?

P: we were not allowed to bring one in so I've ordered one from the commissary list.

LK: you were not allowed to bring books in?

P: you can't bring anything in.

LK: are you a religious person?

P: I've always been religious...I've been to Catholic School when I was a child. (what does that has to do with being religious -__-)

LK:So you read the Bible when you were in jail?

P: yes.

LK: what's your favourite Bible passage?

P: ........ (fumbles around and looked away and a few seconds of awkward silence) I don't have a favourite.

(now that's worth my time watching this!)

Paris is HOLY.
