Happy Mooncake Festival~!
Music: Chieli Minucci- Jazz Guitar Mood: Tired tired tired...
It's been 4 years since I last spent my mid-autumn festival at home, with my family. Today feels just like any other day, only with a few lit lanterns with a table-full of dunno-when-to-finish mooncakes. Sis was extra enthusiastic about this day, and purposely brought home few packets of paper tanglongs and candles. Then what have we done to the tanglongs? 3 silly ladies lit them all up, line them around the porch, took a few pictures, waited for the candles to die off and 'sau gong' in 40 mins. I even forgot to look at the moon. Really nothing better to do........-__-
Here's a whole collection of dunno-when-to-finish mooncakes waiting to be downed by us within a month...
But still, here's to everyone, presenting our pathetic tanglungs:

No panic-ky!
Music: 侧田&吴雨霏-山歌 Mood: dizzy
Someone fainted at my office today. Tis' the first time I see someone colapse before me, tis' the first time I see the staffs react to an emergency situation and tis' the first time I've ever experienced what u call 'no panicky'.
The malay lady was sitting behind me, looking really pale due to diahorrea the day before. There was a muffled 'THUD' and when I turned, she's already playing dead on the ground. My god, I've never seen anyone fainted like that before, she looked like she just DIED; and the amazing part?No one screamed. No one panicked. No one cried. Everyone was so freaking CALM it scares the hell out of me!! Here's the situation:
'THUD' (malay lady fell onto manager whose sitting beside her)
Colleagues sitting around turned and s-l-o-w-l-y stood up.
Manager asked for minyak angin and began rubbing on dead lady. ( okok, she looked DEAD to me)
My colleagues looked on for 10 seconds, and CONTINUED their work.
Others called the secretary for first aid box.
Secretary came in with first aid box in 2 mins.
Colleagues sitting a FEW cubicles away from 'dead body' only started questioning 'what's happening'. (mind you, they r only a few cubicles away and they didn't even know what happened -_-)
Colleagues started to call up the nearest clinics for a doctor and failed to get them around. (1 said they r having meeting and no doctor is available; another 1 said their doctors r attending to patients and they r NOT FREE to come over to look at our poor lady) and did I mention that these clinics r onli a 5- min walk away??
Secretary called for volunters who know first aid and 4 men came in. (at least they knew how to untie her tudung, lift her head up and clear the tightening crowd)
Oh wait. I forgot the most crucial scenario. The lady wasn't moving AT ALL for more than 20 mins and still, no one twitched!!!
They finally decided to drive her to the hospital after someone said that it'll take 25 mins for the ambulance to arrive.
Oh yes, since our new building is only 3 storey high, there wasn't even a lift. So 4 men carried her down the stairs. I wonder what would happen if someone slipped and mrs. dead body rolls her way down the stairs? By the way I felt lucky for her that she's wearing pants today.(I guffawed stupidly at that idiotic thought)
Mrs. dead body finally got into the car and headed to the hospital after lying unconciously on the ground for more than 30 mins. By then, she was already in high fever and shivering all over.
and no one twitched. And then everyone went back to their routine tasks as if nothing happened.
How could everyone remained so freakingly calm????

Mr. stripped- shirt sat back down and surf the net for useful numbers coz no one was even sure of the emergency numbers. (FYI, it's 994 or call your respective hospitals that keeps your record)
Mrs. dead body lies unconcious on the ground, i ended up taking a full view picture of the secretary's butt.
4 strong men lifted Mrs. dead body and claimed that she was amazingly heavy. (mind you, she's even a few cm shorter than me; which shows that dead/unconcious ppl really weights 2 times more of their usual weight)
Moral of the story?
1) Forget about calling the nearest clinic for help, they r a *$&*#$)#%& useless bunch.
2) Wear pants as often as possible. you'll never know how it'll save you.
